Mat Pilates is a series of exercises to improve strength, balance, flexibility, stability, posture and help to relieve chronic pain. Pilates strengthens the core muscles of the pelvis, abdomen, and back. Small props (fitness circles, light-weighted balls, resistance bands, foam rollers, etc.) are also used. Mat Pilates is also been used in the rehabilitation setting. This class is for all ages, body types and fitness levels.

The Pilates Cadillac, Chair and/or some small props can also be used during this class. Reformers can be used for rehabilitation and athletic conditioning. Each class is customized for all ages, body types and fitness levels.
